OWA Offers Aerial Photography Program

The Oregon Winegrower's Association is again offering to it's members the Vineyard Aerial Infrared Photography Program. Veteran photographer Bill Wildman will be taking the photos. The cost is $65 for OWA member participants plus the cost of the photos. Payment must be received with the order form by Tuesday, September 5, 2000. Due to the short turn around time this year, order forms and maps may be faxed to OWA at 503-228-8337 with payment to follow via mail.

Note: The number of photographs required to cover a vineyard depends on the size and shape of the vineyard. Many vineyards can be captured in one photo. Scattered blocks or vineyards with an elongated shape may require multiple photos. If you have specific instructions for the photographer, please include them on an attached, separate sheet of paper. Remember that larger photo sizes do NOT provide greater detail, lower altitude phots increase the detail.

Contact the Oregon Winegrower's Association for more information and to receive a registration form. Send e-mail to owassoc@teleport.com or call 503-228-8403.
