Make your plans now to attend the 50th Anniversary meeting of the American Society for Enology and Viticulture in Seattle June 19 - 23. Some of the highlights of the meeting include a sensory symposium, a cold hardiness workshop, and an experimental design workshop. Concurrent viticulture and enology sessions will address wine analysis, vineyard mechanization, wine flavor, plant materials, wine biotechnology, vine balance, wine aging, and pest management. The Honorary Research Lecture will be presented by Dr. Linda Bisson of the University of California, Davis. A large trade show accompanies the conference and several social events are scheduled.
